the heat's slowed me down...!

Wasn't sure about this little yellow blender...so it was switched for this pretty reddish shot cotton. Likin' the contrast better. But my Buckwheat block sat uncut and unsewed. The heat and humidity has  taken my sewing strength away  ;-) !
This is our new grand dog, Callie. Her parents are headed to Traverse City for a nice summer weekend! Isn't she just the cutest??

Another cute block - I like the red! I see the little templates in the background - I admire your dedication and your throw-back to our grandmother's days. The doggie is so cute. Does he/she get along with Gracie? Enjoy the weekend.

Yep, I like the red better too. It's just been too awful to sew, hasn't it? Even with the a/c going full blast, my room heats up too quickly with the iron turned on. Callie is adorable!
